hese are some serious boots! Stylish yet very durable; they feel like they will last a very long time. A bit on the heavy side, but that's not surprising considering they are built for road wear and not just for fashion. Still very comfortable despite the weight! For me these run just a little large, but I think that is because of my narrow feet. I wear a 10 in most shoes but in these the 9.5 fits great. I wore these out for an afternoon, straight out of the box, and they felt great! I don't think these will need a typical break-in period. The leather is already so soft and supple! As far as color, they are a little bit lighter than pictured, more of a dark tan. I love the color though! Also, I wasn't sure if "wooden rubber heel" meant part wood/part rubber, or rubber that is made to look like wood. I was pleased to find that the heels actually are part wood/part rubber. Overall, wonderful quality boots! I will be wearing these for years to come. You'll be pleased with these if you don't mind a little extra weight!

tried these boots out yesterday on a clear cold riding day. Kept me warm for the ride! Beautiful look and great value. I will wear with "normal" clothes too. only down side is predictable fit. I purchased 1/2 size smaller than my normal boot, and these were still big. 2 paris wool socks worked, but going down a size smaller would likely be best way to go.
